YANG BERHORMAT PENGIRAN HAJI ISA BIN PENGIRAN HAJI ALIUDDIN meminta MENTERI SUMBER-SUMBER UTAMA DAN PELANCONGAN menyatakan apakah usaha kerajaan untuk memastikan peniaga dan pengusaha tempatan dalam sektor makanan dan minuman, pertanian, dan agrimakanan dapat mengembangkan produk mereka ke peringkat global, memandangkan banyak produk berkualiti sudah ada di pasaran tempatan, di samping melihat kejayaan negara lain yang mensubsidi syarikat mereka untuk tujuan tersebut?

Yang Berhormat Pengerusi, izinkan kaola menjawab soalan dari Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Isa.

Buat masa ini pihak Kementerian tidak ada perancangan dasar untuk memberikan subsidi kepada syarikat-syarikat yang telah mengeksport produk-produk pertanian ke luar negara seperti Singapura dan Malaysia. Kementerian ini memang giat menjalankan usaha akses pasaran dengan kerjasama BEDB dan pihak BEDB memberikan bantuan pemudah cara bagi syarikat-syarikat untuk mengeksport ke luar negara tertakluk kepada kriteria-kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh pihak BEDB.

Kementerian ini juga menggalakkan penerokaan pasaran eksport demi menjamin peluang pertumbuhan perniagaan dan pertumbuhan KDNK melalui inisiatif melaksanakan kerjasama dan perolehan maklumat dengan pelbagai agensi swasta dan kerajaan, penyediaan platform G to G iaitu konsultasi antara competent authority negara ini dengan competent authority negara pengimport untuk memudahkan perundingan dan pengeksportan hasil pertanian ke negara destinasi.

Market Access Platform Bruneian Made disasarkan sebagai platform penjualan bermula pada outlet utama Bruneian Made dan sekiranya mempunyai high sales akan dilaratkan kepada outlet atau kiosk Bruneian Made di pasaraya-pasaraya tempatan. Platform Bruneian Made ini juga sebagai persediaan produk-produk makanan tempatan untuk menembusi pasaran eksport di bawah Export Facilitation Program BEDB.
