YANG BERHORMAT AWANG HAJI MOHAMAD DANIAL @ TEKPIN BIN YA’AKUB meminta MENTERI HAL EHWAL UGAMA menyatakan apakah usaha dan perancangan pihak Kementerian di dalam menangani isu kekurangan imam atau pegawai masjid dan apakah ada diwujudkan program khusus secara konsisten yang menggalakkan masyarakat khususnya belia-belia meminati jawatan-jawatan berkenaan?

JAWAPAN:

Dalam menangani isu kekurangan imam atau pegawai masjid bagi masjid seluruh negara, beberapa inisiatif telah dilaksanakan seperti berikut:

  1. Menetapkan sukat-sukat jumlah pegawai masjid mengikut kategori masjid seperti berikut:

  1. Melaksanakan pengisian jawatan secara terancang dan teratur dengan memproses jawatan-jawatan pegawai masjid yang akan bersara dalam tempoh 6 bulan kehadapan bagi memastikan kekosongan jawatan dapat diisikan setelah persaraan. Pada masa ini terdapat sebanyak 23 kekosongan jawatan pegawai-pegawai masjid yang pada masa ini kesemuanya sudah diproses untuk diisikan.

  2. Menempatkan seramai 65 orang Perantis SkiPPA di Jabatan Hal Ehwal Masjid bagi menampung keperluan pegawai-pegawai masjid di seluruh negara.

  3. Dalam pada itu, usaha tambahan pihak Jabatan Hal Ehwal Masjid bagi memenuhi keperluan imam dan bilal adalah melalui pendekatan lantikan Pelapis Imam dan Pelapis Bilal sama ada dalam kalangan Bilal atau Merbut sendiri atau orang awam khususnya lepasan graduan bidang ugama yang belum bekerja.

Jabatan Hal Ehwal Masjid telah mengadakan Program / Kursus / Bengkel bagi Pelapis Imam dan Bilal di kalangan jemaah dan belia masjid sebagai bimbingan dan galakan kepada mereka untuk menjadi Imam atau Bilal.
