To address the issue of shortage of imams or mosque officers for mosques nationwide, several initiatives have been implemented as follows:

  2. Placing 65 SkiPPA apprentices in the Department of Mosque Affairs to meet the needs of mosque officers nationwide.

Additionally, the efforts of the Department of Mosque Affairs to meet the needs for imams and bilal include the approach of appointing Future Imams and Future Bilals, either from within the Bilal or Merbut itself, or the general public, especially graduates in religious fields who are unemployed.

The Department of Mosque Affairs has organized Programs / Courses / Workshops for Future Imams and Bilals among the mosque congregation and youth as guidance and encouragement for them to become Imams or Bilals.
