SALAM meminta MENTERI PEMBANGUNAN menyatakan adakah bayaran akan dikenakan ke atas kenderaan luar negara memandangkan kos penyelenggaraan rutin Jambatan Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien dan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha mencecah BND300,000 dan BND50,000 setahun? Ini adalah untuk menyokong kelestarian fiskal, menampung kos penyelenggaraan, dan memperkukuh keterhubungan serantau secara mampan.

Terima kasih Yang Berhormat Yang Di-Pertua. Terima kasih juga kepada Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Safiah binti Sheikh Haji Abd. Salam atas persoalan mengenai sama ada bayaran akan dikenakan ke atas kenderaan luar negara yang menggunakan Jambatan Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien dan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha.

Pada masa ini bayaran yang dikenakan kepada kenderaan luar negara adalah melalui Exit and Entry System (EES) yang dikawal oleh Jabatan Kastam dan Eksais Di Raja.

Yang Berhormat Yang Di-Pertua, sekian sahaja yang Kaola dapat sampaikan bagi menjawab soalan Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Safiah binti Sheikh Haji Abd. Salam. Sekian Terima kasih.
