YANG BERHORMAT PEHIN ORANG KAYA INDERA PAHLAWAN DATO SERI SETIA AWANG HAJI SUYOI BIN HAJI OSMAN meminta MENTERI PEMBANGUNAN menyatakan apakah perkembangan dalam menimbang kaedah baru pembiayaan Skim Perumahan Negara seperti PPP? Jika masih belum ada, adakah Kementerian akan berupaya meneruskan pembinaan rumah di bawah Skim Perumahan Negara dan Skim Perumahan Rakyat Jati memandangkan senarai pemohon semakin bertambah.

Yang Berhormat Menteri Pembangunan​

Kementerian Pembangunan bersama Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) sedang meneroka kaedah kemungkinan penghasilan rumah melalui peruntukan atau pembiayaan alternatif seperti Private Public Partnership.

Jabatan Kemajuan Perumahan telahpun membuat sesi dialog bersama sektor (bank) pada suku pertama tahun 2025 bertujuan bagi mendapatkan input dari pihak bank mengenai pembiayaan pinjaman rumah seperti struktur pinjaman, kadar faedah dan pinjaman. Insya Allah pada suku ketiga tahun ini, sesi dialog akan diteruskan bersama pemaju tempatan.

Pihak Kementerian juga akan terus menerokai kaedah-kaedah lain yang difikirkan dapat membantu mempercepatkan kadar penyediaan rumah baru tanpa menjejaskan matlamat sosial Skim Perumahan Negara.
