YANG BERHORMAT DR. AWANG HAJI MAHALI BIN HAJI MOMIN asks the MINISTER OF DEVELOPMENT to state how many houses under the National Housing Scheme and the Skim Tanah Kurnia Rakyat Jati have been returned to the government because there were no heirs, and what action the ministry is taking to handle this issue?

Based on the records of the Housing Development Department, to date there have been no houses under the National Housing Scheme that have been repossessed by the Government because the homeowner had passed away and had no heirs present to take over the house concerned.

However, any matters relating to the estate of a deceased person, including matters involving an estate without heirs, are handled in accordance with inheritance law or faraid.
