The Immigration and National Registration Department uses the Border Management System (BMS) to record entry and exit data through the Immigration Control Posts of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The statistics for citizens of Brunei Darussalam and foreign nationals exiting and entering through the Immigration Control Posts for the four (4) year period from 2021 until July 2025 are as follows:

Meanwhile, the Immigration and National Registration Department does not record information on citizens of Brunei Darussalam and foreign nationals leaving Negara Brunei Darussalam in the BMS based on purpose because exit data is only recorded as exit (depart) only.
