ANSWER
Yang Berhormat Menteri Kesihatan
At present, the Ministry of Health is continuously undertaking efforts to preserve and maintain basic infrastructure at hospitals and health centres. This includes major maintenance works that are essential to ensuring that health facilities continue to operate safely and effectively. Some existing infrastructure is being upgraded so that the delivery of health services to the public can continue smoothly.
At the same time, the Ministry is also driving digital transformation through the BruHealth 5.0 initiative. This approach reflects the future direction of health services, where the public can access services more easily and quickly, without having to go through complicated processes or make frequent journeys to health facilities for certain services.
The Ministry’s focus is clear: to strengthen existing physical infrastructure while developing a modern, efficient and patient-focused digital health ecosystem.
In addition to plans to establish new health centres, major efforts are also being undertaken to upgrade existing health centres. The Ministry is placing emphasis on training the workforce responsible for maintaining the buildings, so that maintenance is carried out in accordance with international standards and remains proactive in ensuring that the facilities are kept in the best possible condition.
InsyaAllah, through the combination of physical infrastructure preservation and the BruHealth 5.0 digital transformation, the national health system will become stronger, more modern and more responsive to the needs of the people.
