The 'Guide on Laws and Employment Regulations in Negara Brunei Darussalam' referred to was published by the Labour Department in 2014 and contains information on labor regulations including from the Employment Act, Chapter 278; Workers' Compensation Act, Chapter 74; and Workplace Safety and Health Order 2009.

Besides this Employment Guide, the Ministry of Home Affairs through the Labour Department actively disseminates the latest information through press releases and infographics shared through the official social media of the Ministry of Home Affairs and also the Labour Department, as well as during roadshows and briefings held in all four districts. For example, the implementation of the Medical Insurance Protection Policy for Permanent Residents and Immigration Pass Holders, Implementation of Minimum Wage for the First and Second Phases, and other new policies or regulations introduced by the Labour Department.
